Measures of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region for implementing the Energy Conservation Law of People's Republic of China.

These Measures aim at strengthening energy conservation in the whole society, raising efficiency of energy utilization, protecting and improving the environment. The Regulations consist of 57 Articles divided into 6 Chapters: General Provisions (I); Administration of Energy Conservation (II); Rational Utilization and Energy Conservation (III); Incentive Measures for Energy Conservation (IV); Legal Liabilities (V); Supplementary Provisions (VI).
The administrative authority for economy and information technology of the regional people's government shall be in charge of energy conservation and the supervision and administration thereof in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The Autonomous Region shall apply a system of responsibility for achieving the goals set for energy conservation and a system for assessing energy conservation, which shall include achievements in energy conservation in the assessment of the local people's governments and the leading officers.
