Measures of Qinghai Province for management of livestock and poultry slaughtering.

The purpose of these Measures is to guarantee the quality and safety of livestock and poultry products, maintain the health of the general public, and promote the healthy development of animal husbandry. The Text consists of 30 Articles divided into 5 Chapters: General Provisions (I); Establishment of slaughtering plants (fields) (II); Inspection and Quarantine (III); Legal Liabilities (IV); Supplementary Provisions (V). The provincial commerce authority shall develop livestock and poultry slaughtering plant (field) setup planning. The Regulations further provide for the location of, and the requirements for live pig slaughters plants (fields), inspection, quarantine, supervision, offences and penalties.
