These Measures are formulated in accordance with laws and regulations such as the Animal Epidemic Prevention Law and the Regulations on the Management of Swine Slaughtering, aiming to strengthen the management of livestock and poultry slaughtering, ensure the quality and safety of livestock and poultry products, and ensure the health of the people.
The Measures consist of 39 Articles divided into 6 Chapters: General provisions; Planning and establishment; Slaughtering quarantine and inspection of livestock and poultry products; Supervision and management; Legal liability; Supplementary provisions.
The autonomous region implements designated slaughtering and centralized quarantine systems for livestock and poultry.
