Abstract
These Measures are formulated in accordance with the Land Reclamation Regulations of the State Council in order to utilize land economically and rationally.
The land reclamation planning formulated by the relevant sectoral management departments shall be coordinated with the local overall land use planning. Such land reclamation plans shall be submitted to the land administrative departments for review and approval. Where the reclaimed land is used for agricultural, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery production, incentives such as reduction and exemption of agricultural taxes, agricultural specialty taxes and other related administrative charges, shall be goven. The Text further provides for the measures for inspection and supervision, offences and penalties, compensation, etc.
