Abstract
This Regulation is formulated in accordance with the Meteorological Law of the People's Republic of China, in order to strengthen and standardize meteorological work, prevent and mitigate meteorological disasters, protect people's lives and property, rationally develop, utilize and protect climate resources, and promote economic and social development.
The Regulation outlines responsibilities for government agencies and meteorological institutions, emphasizing public service, scientific research, and international cooperation. The Regulation covers weather monitoring, forecasting, and emergency response, with strict protocols for issuing public weather alerts and managing meteorological data.
