This policy document is developed to promote the high-quality development of animal husbandry and comprehensively improve the security guarantee ability of livestock and poultry products supply.
The development goals include: The overall competitiveness of animal husbandry will be steadily improved, the ability of animal disease prevention and control will be significantly enhanced, the level of green development will be significantly improved, and the ability to ensure the supply security of livestock and poultry products will be greatly improved; The self-sufficiency rate of pork will be maintained at about 95%, the self-sufficiency rate of beef and mutton will be maintained at about 85%, the self-sufficiency rate of milk source will be maintained at more than 70%, and the basic self-sufficiency of poultry meat and eggs will be realized.
