Provisions on Administrative Licensing Management of Antarctic Expedition.

These Provisions, consisting of 33 Articles, aim to strengthen the administrative licensing management of Antarctic expedition. The State encourages and supports citizens, legal persons or other organizations to conduct Antarctic scientific expeditions in an orderly manner. A citizen, a legal person or any other organization shall make an application to the competent maritime department under the State Council when conducting the Antarctic expedition involving the items as prescribed in Article 3. The Measures provide for the requirements and rules for the relevant matters such as application, acceptance, examination, approval, supervision and management.
