Provisions on Natural Resources Law Enforcement and Supervision.

These Provisions are developed in accordance with the Land Administration Law of the People's Republic of China, the Mineral Resources Law of the People's Republic of China, and other laws and regulations for the purposes of legally performing the duties of natural resources law enforcement and supervision, effectively protecting natural resources, and safeguarding the lawful rights and interests of citizens, legal persons, and other organizations. The Provisions consist of 32 Articles.
The competent natural resources regulatory authorities at or above the county level shall strengthen the application of technology such as remote sensing monitoring and video surveillance. The efficiency of law enforcement supervision can be improved through purchasing social services and other means. The natural resource management departments of cities and counties shall establish a law enforcement inspection and spot check system, organize inspection and spot check activities, discover, report and lawfully stop illegal activities related to natural resources.
