Abstract
The purpose of these Provisions is to regulate the examination and approval of construction project environmental impact assessment documents, protect legitimate rights and interests of citizens, legal persons and other organizations of People's Republic of China. The Provisions consist of 23 Articles.
The construction entities shall develop the environmental impact assessment report, the environmental impact statement or fill the environmental impact registration form, in accordance with the Construction Project Environmental Protection Classification Management Directory (art.6). Article 7 provides for the main contents of construction project environmental impact assessment report. The Provisions further concern the following: the procedures for application and acceptance, review, approval, and the time limits, etc.
