Abstract
These Regulations are enacted to strengthen the planning, construction and management of villages, improve the living environment and promote the coordinated development of urban and rural areas. The Regulations consist of 7 Chapters: General provisions; Village planning; Land use; Village construction; Village management; Legal liabilities; Supplementary provisions.
Village planning shall be organized and formulated by the township (town) people's government. The villagers' opinions shall be solicited in the village planning, which shall be connected with the overall planning of the township (town). The ownership of the construction land in the village planning area belongs to the collective.
