Abstract
These Regulations aim to strengthen the nuclear power plant accident emergency management, control and reduce the damage of nuclear accidents. The Text consists of 42 Articles divided into 8 Chapters: General Provisions (I); Emergency Response Institutions and their duties (II); Preparation for emergency responses (III); Emergency responses and emergency protective measures (IV); Termination of the state of emergency and recovery measures (V); Financial and material support (VI); Rewards and punishments (VII); Supplementary Provisions (VIII).
The department designated by the State Council shall take charge of the national nuclear accident emergency management work. Nuclear accident emergency response plans shall be developed by the nuclear accident emergency response units of nuclear power plants, the departments designated by the provincial people's government and the departments designated by the State Council.
