Regulations of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone on Fire Prevention and Control(2009).

These Regulations are enacted in accordance with the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Fire Prevention and Control, aiming to prevent fire disaster and decrease fire detriment, and protect the safety of citizen’s person and property as well as public property. The Regulations contain 100 Articles divided into 10 Chapters: General Provisions (I); Fire Prevention and Control Safety Responsibilities (II); Fire Prevention (III); Fire Propaganda and Education (IV); Fire Fighting Organizations and Fire Fighting Technical Service Institutions (V); Fire-Suppression and Rescue (VI); Fire Accident Investigation (VII); Supervision and Inspection (VIII); Legal Liabilities (IX); Supplementary Provisions (X).
For construction projects requiring examination and acceptance in accordance with the law, the fire prevention and control organ of public security department shall examine and verify the fire control design documents. The fire prevention and control organ of public security department shall, according to their needs, mobilize full-time and volunteer fire brigades to participate in fire fighting and other emergency rescue work.
