Abstract
This Decree-Law amends the financing regime for projects related to environmental preservation activities, as well as the organization and operation of the Environmental Fund. Amendments deal with the following aspects: Counterparts of projects concerning the environment and compensations resulting from changes in the institutional legal framework. Issue of financial contributions in the context of conventions and international organizations related to the activities of preservation and conservation of the environment, which Cape Verde is a party. Financial and equity management of the Environment Fund, including the organization of accounting. The Environment Fund may, in pursuit of its object, in strict compliance with the provisions of this law and in accordance with the Environmental Investment Directives (DIA): Contract loans; Sell or lease its income; Issue bonds and other related activities.
