Abstract
This Decree-Law amends article 91 of the Electric System of Cape Verde. Article 91 of Decree-Law No. 54/99 of 30 August, amended by Decree-Law No. 14/2006 of 20 February, as follows: Suspension of energy supply - 1. Authorized entities may cut off the service to a customer for non-payment of invoices after more than 30 days, upon communication 15 days in advance of the cut-off date. 2. The warning of the cut for non-payment of the invoice within a period of 30 days and the prior communication as previously referred must appear on the invoice in a clear and precise manner and in easily legible characters.
