Abstract
This Decree-Law is composed of four Chapters divided in 23 articles. It lays down provisions and requirements on the registration of fishing vessels. In particular, the Decree-Law rules on the authorization procedure for registration purposes. Particular attention is paid to the regulation of authorization according to vessels’ nationality and of the obtainment and/or construction of new fishing vessels. Finally, the Decree-Law regulates the Registry of Fishing Vessels.
