Decree-Law No. 54/2005 regulating sports fishing in National waters.

This Decree-Law is composed of seven Chapters divided in 31 articles. It regulates sports fishing in national waters. It provides a general regulation of sports fishing classifying types of fisheries, of fishing gears and of fishing vessels. Moreover, it defines allowed areas and periods and rules on protected species. Finally, the Decree-Law also regulates on capture’s declarations, licensing regime and fishing quotas.
