Decree-Law No. 65/2015 establishing the Statute regulating the Fund for Social Tourism Sustainability.

This Decree-Law approves the Statute of the Cape Verdean Investments, Agency for Tourism and Investments, and creates the Regional Centres for Tourism and Investments. This Statute, consisting of 7 Chapters, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Agency, as a public institution implementing on a decentralized basis, duties of the government department and responsible for tourism, investment and enterprise development, under the government and internally structured in three Regional Centres for Tourism and investments. Its mission is to promote, evaluate and implement investment policies in the tourism sector, carry out activities for qualification and development of tourist infrastructures, coordination of internal and external promotion of Cape Verde as a tourist destination and to develop training of human resources in this sector, according to Decree No. 20/2013 of 24 September, creating the Statute of the Fund for Social Tourism Sustainability.
