Decree-Law No. 70/2020 establishing the legal regime and taxes for the proceedings of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).

This Decree-Law, consisting of 15 articles divided into three Chapters, establishes the Fees Regime in the context of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) procedure, under the Fees and Contributions Regime, approved by Law No. 100/VIII/2015 of 10 December, and the Legal Regime for the Environmental Impact Assessment, approved by Decree-Law No. 27/2020 of 19 March. The fees established by the present document are related to the uses provided by public or private projects that are likely to have effects on the environment and within the scope of the environmental impact assessment procedure, by the Environmental Impact Assessment Authority, hereinafter referred to as the EIA Authority.
