Abstract
This Decree approves the Regulation for the organization and functioning of the Fund for Environment, approved by Decree-Law No. 29/98. This Regulation, consisting of 4 Chapters, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Fund, under the Ministry of Environment, Lodging and Territorial Planning, entitled to: manage the implementation of strategic actions related to environmental sector, plan and implement technical support measures, through the previous controls carried out on any environmental material, in order to guarantee a sustainable and balanced development.
