Decree No. 3/2015 approving the Statute of the Fund for developing Inter-island Maritime Transport (FADTMI).

This Decree, consisting of 5 Chapters, approves the Statute of the Fund for developing Inter-island Maritime Transport (FADTMI). The FADTMI's mission is to ensure the sustainability of public service between Capeverdean islands, through paying compensation to utilities operators. FADTMI in addition may support the process of restructuring and modernization of the maritime inter-island transport system, contributing in particular to fleet modernization, purchase of new vessels and major repairs to vessels as well as the formation and training of human resources.
