Abstract
This Order approves the Regulation of sanitary measures to be applied on fish products' production and placing on the market. It consists of 7 articles and 8 annexes defining: 'fish product', 'aquaculture product' 'fish processing and transport', hygiene requirements, etc. It lists chemical additives not to be contained within fish products for human consumption. Annex I concerns fishing vessel requirements. Annex II deals with conditions before and after fish landing. Annex III specifies fishery infrastructure sanitary requirements. Annex IV lists special conditions to be applied for fish product treatment by processing infrastructures. Annex V deals with sanitary controls to be carried out on fish production. Annexes VI and VII specify labelling and packaging requirements. Annex VIII concerns storage and transport.
