Abstract
This Order approves the Regulation of sanitary measures to be applied on fish products destined to human consumption and their placing on the market. The Regulation consists of 7 articles and 12 annexes defining: 'fish product', 'aquaculture product' 'fish processing and transport', hygiene requirements, etc. It lists chemical additives not to be contained within fish products for human consumption. Annexes of this Regulation are divided as follows: Fishing vessel requirements (Annex I); Conditions before and after fish landing (II); Fisheries infrastructure sanitary requirements (III); Special conditions to be applied for fish product treatment by processing infrastructures (IV); Sanitary controls to be carried out on fish production (V); Labelling and packaging requirements (VI and VII); Storage and transport (VIII); Sanitary certification for exports (IX); Classification of fresh fish (X); Sanitary self-controls (XI); Model form for sanitary certification (XII).
