Resolution No. 127/2017 approving the 2nd National Action Plan for Human Rights and Citizenship (II PNADHC).

This Resolution approves the 2nd National Action Plan for Human Rights and Citizenship (II PNADHC). II PNADHC guidelines and strategic objectives focus on creating the conditions for a culture of compliance and protection of human rights within the framework of a democratic legislation, establish effective mechanisms of protection and place human rights at the center of the internal and external action of the State of Cape Verde. In addition, it aims at consolidating and reinforcing the realization of civil and political rights, intervening in the most problematic areas, in carrying out, progressively, economic, social and cultural rights, and in guaranteeing citizenship, protection, emancipation and inclusion of members of vulnerable groups, reinforcing interventions in favor of equal gender opportunities.
