Abstract
This Resolution No. 56/202 approves the Family Livestock Modernization Programme for activities classified in Class B, as established by Decree-Law No. 30/2024 of June 26 on the regime for livestock activity (REAP). This Resolution applies to entire country. The Programme is designed to support family farmers in adapting their livestock farming units, in accordance with current legislation and new trends and health standards, aiming to increase production and income, enhance the activity, as well as strengthen resilience and capacity to adapt to climate change. The Programme contains three major measures detailed below: a) Measure 1. Promotion and Enhancement of National Family Livestock Production; b) Measure 2. Capacity Strengthening; c) Measure 3. Disclosure, Information and Awareness.
