Abstract
This Decree, issued pursuant to the provisions of article 28 of the Law no. 54 of 1996 on Food (Control and Sale) and incorporating Commission Directive 2001/52/EC amending Directive 95/31/EC laying down specific criteria of purity concerning sweeteners for use in foodstuffs, amends the Regulations on sweetening substances in foodstuffs no. 76 of 2002. The amendment concerns the second schedule attached to the Regulation, by replacing the paragraph regarding the permitted artificial sweetener with the paragraph set out in the Part 1 of the Schedule to this Decree, and by substituting the subsection regarding permitted sweetener with the paragraph listed in Part 2 of the table attached to this Decree.
