Decree No. 350 of 2025 on Urban Planning and General Development (Amendment).

This Decree, made by the Minister of Interior according to provisions of article 22 of the Town and Country Planning Law, amends the Town and Country Planning General Development Decree in its last consolidated version of 2024. The amendments concern: the installation of small private desalination units for the production of non-potable water to serve agricultural farms, hotels, golf courses, water parks, or other related facilities, for production of up to 1,500 cubic meters per day; the installation of small private desalination units with a capacity of up to 1,500 cubic meters per day, in hotel units, for the production of potable water; the installation of small desalination units up to 1,500 cubic meters per day daily, for water supply purposes, by the Provincial Government Organisations and Communities that are Water Supply Authorities and for irrigation purposes by Local Authorities. According to the provisions of this Decree, the installation of small desalination units must be harmoniously integrated into the surrounding area and the neighbouring properties, avoiding any disturbance and noise pollution.
