Decree No. 363 of 2024 on the Control of Atmospheric Pollution (Determination of General Operating Limits for Medium-sized Combustion Plants).

This Decree, made by the Minister under provisions of section 8, subsection (15) and section 9, subsection (5), paragraph (b) of the Air Pollution Control Law, provides for determining general operating conditions for medium-sized combustion plants regarding the control of emissions of sulphur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx) and dust into the atmosphere, as well as for monitoring the carbon monoxide (CO) emissions, in order to reduce the potential risks they pose to human health and the environment. The Decree concerns: classification of medium-sized combustion plants; definition of general operating conditions, detailed in the annexes; issuance of specific waste gas emission permit; limit values for emission of pollutants into the atmosphere; monitoring activity and record keeping.
