Abstract
This Decree, issued pursuant to the provisions of article 28 of the Law no. 54 of 1996 on Food (Control and Sale) and incorporating Directive 2003/52/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Directive 95/2/EC as regards the conditions of use for a food additive E 425 konjac, provides for the amendment of the Miscellaneous Substances in Foodstuffs Regulations no. 126 of 2002. The Sixth Schedule of the Regulations is amended by replacing the text of Column 2 of the Table, regarding the permitted miscellaneous substance E425 konjac and its derivates, with new text concerning food in general except for confectionery jelly.
