The Fisheries (Amendment) Law, no. 170 of 2019.

This Fisheries (Amendment) Act 2019 amends the Fisheries Act 1935, that is the basic Law. The amendments concern replacement of terms, including: fishing permit and fishing permit; income, derived from employment, pensions, rents, income from interest, dividends and income subsidies from the Cyprus Agricultural Payments Organisation, as well as any other income subject to income tax; commercial small vessel inshore fishing licence; Cyprus Agricultural Payments Organisation; transshipment; territorial waters; fishing vessel; Fisheries Inspector. Amendments also concern: prohibited fishing gear and practices; compliance with European Legislation; replacement of article 13 of the basic Law concerning small-scale coastal fishing licenses, occasional fishing vessels, gears and nets used by these vessels, maximum age to hold a fishing license; replacement of annexes, concerning: annual fees for issuing or renewing a fishing license, categories of fishing license.
