Fisheries (Amendment) Regulations, 2005 (P.I. 354/2005).

These Regulations may be cited as the Fisheries (Amendment) Regulations, 2005 and shall be read as one with the Fisheries Regulations, 1990-2004 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Regulations"). The principal Regulations and the present Regulations shall be read as one and will be referred to as the Fisheries Regulations of 1990-2005.
The present regulations carry forward amendments to certain sections of the principal Regulations. Sections 4, 6, 7, 8, 12, 17 and 21 of the principal Regulations are hereby amended. Also, new sections are added to the principal Regulations. More specifically, sections 4A, 4B, 17A, 17B and a new Annex (V) are inserted. Sections 18, 19 and Annexes III and IV are hereby replaced by new provisions set forth in this text. The amendments are basically in connection with fishing licenses, amateurish fishing licenses, mesh size, prescriptions on the usage of certain fishing gears.
