Fisheries (Amendment) Regulations, no. 256 of 2024.

These Regulations, issued by the Council of Ministers, pursuant to article 6 of the Fisheries Law, amend the Fisheries Regulations of 1990. Amendments concern: adding new terms and definitions; conditions for using fishing nets and tools, based on the type of fishing vessel and the fishing licence; special permits for using different types of fishing nets; prohibition of using bottom trawl nets for fishing, except under specific authorisation and a minimum mesh size; period of time in which fishing is allowed; prohibition of fishing by encircling.
