Abstract
The Council of Ministers, in the exercise of the powers vested in it by article 30 of the Hydrocarbons (Prospection, Exploration and Exploitation) Law of 2007, hereby makes the present Regulations. These Regulations shall be read in conjunction with the Hydrocarbons (Prospection, Exploration and Exploitation) Regulations of 2007 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Regulations”). The principal and the present Regulations shall be read in conjunction and will be referred to as the Hydrocarbons (Prospection, Exploration and Exploitation) Regulations 2007-2009. Sections 2, 9, 10, 22 and 24 are of the principal Regulations are hereby amended by replacing certain phrases.
