Implementation of European Community Decisions and Regulations Law, 2007 (Law No. 78(I)/2007).

This Law provides for the institution of criminal offenses and imposition of administrative fines for the infringement of provisions contained in the European Community Regulations concerning the food sector or Decisions on relevant issues. In the first Annex is set forth a list of provisions of Community Regulations and Decisions of which the violation shall be considered a criminal offense or for which an administrative fine shall be imposed. In the Annex, the relevant scales of penalties, administrative fines and competent authorities are also listed.
