Imposition of qualitative control at the export of artichokes Regulations 2000 (P.I. 302/2000).

The provisions of these regulations sets forth quality standards for artichokes. This standard applies to vegetables of the varieties (cultivars) of Cynara scolymus L., to be exported and for supply fresh to the consumer after preparation and packaging. Artichokes intended for industrial processing, are not covered by the present regulations. This standard defines also the minimum quality requirements to be met by artichokes after preparation and packaging, classification, sizing, packaging and presentation, marking and labelling.
