Abstract
The provisions of these regulations sets forth quality standards for cultivated garlic. This standard applies to vegetables of the variety (cultivar) of Allium sativum L. to be exported and for supply fresh to the consumer after preparation and packaging. Garlic intended for industrial processing, are not covered by the present regulations. This standard defines also the minimum quality requirements to be met by garlic after preparation and packaging, classification, sizing, packaging and presentation, marking and labelling.
