Imposition of qualitative control at the export of peach and nectarines Regulations 2000 (P.I. 318/2000).

The provisions of these regulations sets forth quality standards for peaches and nectarines. This standard applies to fruits of the varieties (cultivars) of Prunus persica Sieb. and Zucc. to be exported and for supply fresh to the consumer after preparation and packaging. Peaches and nectarines intended for industrial processing, are not covered by the present regulations. This standard defines also the minimum quality requirements to be met by these fruits after preparation and packaging, classification, sizing, packaging and presentation, marking and labelling.
