Imposition of qualitative control at the export of strawberries Regulations 2000 (P.I. 311/2000).

The provisions of these regulations sets forth quality standards for strawberries. This standard applies to vegetables of the variety (cultivar) of Fragaria L. to be exported and for supply fresh to the consumer after preparation and packaging. Strawberries intended for industrial processing, are not covered by the present regulations. This standard defines also the minimum quality requirements to be met by strawberries after preparation and packaging, classification, sizing, packaging and presentation, marking and labelling.
