Imposition of qualitative control at the export of wild carrots Regulations 2000 (P.I. 306/2000).

The provisions of these regulations sets forth quality standards for wild carrots. This standard applies to vegetables of the varieties (cultivars) of Daucus carota L., to be exported and for supply fresh to the consumer after preparation and packaging. Wild carrots intended for industrial processing, are not covered by the present regulations. This standard defines also the minimum quality requirements to be met by carrots after preparation and packaging, classification, sizing, packaging and presentation, marking and labelling.
