Abstract
The present Regulations are issued under article 24 of the Improvement of Animals Law, 2001. These Regulations shall be read as one with the Improvement of animal breeds (Breeders associations, criteria for inclusion in the herd books and acceptance of hybrid and pure-bred pigs) Regulations of 2001 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Regulations”). The principal Regulations and the present ones shall be read together and will be referred to as the Improvement of animal breeds (Breeders associations, criteria for inclusion in the herd books and acceptance of hybrid and pure-bred pigs) Regulations 2001-2004. Section 7 to the principal Regulations is hereby amended as set out in section 2 of the present Regulations.
