Law no. 27 of 2018 on the Recognition of Agricultural Product Producer Organisations.

This Law provides for implementation of European Legislation (Regulations (EU) no. 1308/2013 and no. 1305/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council) concerning the establishment of a common organisation of the markets in agricultural products and support for rural development by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD). The Law defines the following relevant terms: recognition; agricultural products, as primary products of plant and animal production mentioned in the Annexes; competent authority; organisation of producers. The Law provides for the following matters: establishment of Advisory Committees and related procedures; administrative matters; powers of competent authority, including: power of entry and inspection; power to issue regulations and make decrees; penalties.
Annex I includes a list of the following agricultural products managed by the common organisation of agricultural markets: cereals; hop; dried fodder; olive oil and table olives; fruits and vegetables; bananas; wine; live trees and other plants; bulbs, roots and similar products; smoked beef; pork; goat meet; milk and dairy products; eggs; poultry meat; beekeeping products and silkworms; potatoes and dried legumes. Annex II includes the following products not managed by the common organisation of agricultural markets: rabbit meat; cultivated medicinal and aromatic plants in fresh or dry form.
