Abstract
These Regulations, made under provisions of subsection (1) of section 94 and subsection (2) of section 71 of the Protection and Management of Wild Birds and Game Law, concern the creation of hunting dog training areas. The Regulations define the following relevant terms: license to establish and operate a hunting dog training area; license to possess and use hares, game birds, animals and game; local government; wild animal. The Regulations concern: requirements for being appointed as responsible person and manager for hunting dog training; characteristics of hunting dog training area; obligation of the manager to secure all required permits for fencing or the construction of various infrastructures within the hunting dog training area; issuance of licence to possess and use hares, game birds, animals and game, for the purposes of training hunting dogs; prohibitions concerning training; conduction of courses and special examinations for the acquisition of a licence.
