Strategic Planning of the Department of Forestry 2021-2023.

This Strategic Planning of the Department of Forests, covering the three-year period 2021–2023, defines the targeted measures for ensuring conservation, protection and sustainable management of forests. The Strategic Planning focuses on the following six actions: 1) effective treatment of forest fires; 2) effective protection of natural environment, biodiversity conservation and strengthening the environmental role of forest ecosystem, including protection of soil from erosion, preservation of forest species, declaration of protected areas; 3) strengthening recreational forests and promoting tourism; 4) improving state forest management and increasing production of timber and other forest products; 5) protection of forest reproductive materials; 6) improving the policy framework, productivity and education on forest protection.
