Town Planning and Zoning (Delegation of Powers) Order, no. 216 of 2024.

This Order, issued by the Minister of the Interior, exercising the powers granted to him by articles 5 and 17 of the Town Planning and Spatial Planning Law, provides for revoking and delegating to the town councils and to the Director of the Department of Town Planning and Housing some administrative powers concerning the following specific activities: preparation of local Plans; definition of requirements and submission of proposals for the Plans; preparation of Plans concerning land subdivision; control and enforcement of the powers; proposal of development of land involving immovable property owned by organisations or by the State and leased to these organisations; measures concerning waste disposal, and development of renewable energy on land.
