The Urban and Regional Planning (Mobile Desalination Units) Special Development Decree no. 143 of 2025.

This Decree, made under provisions of article 22 of the Town and Country Planning Law, concerns Town and Country Planning (Mobile Desalination Units). This Decree is issued within the framework of the Action Plan approved by the Council of Ministers to address water scarcity and better protect the country from prolonged drought. This Decree applies to plots of land suitable for the installation of mobile desalination units, aimed at the production of drinking water, as described in the Development Plan. The Decree provides measures for transferring ownership of private land to the State, in case of installation of the units, and for compliance measures.
