Abstract
This Law may be cited as the Water Pollution Control (Amendment) Law of 2007 and shall be read as one with the Water Pollution Control Laws of 2002 and 2006 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Law"). The principal Law and the present Law shall be read as one and will be referred to as the Water Pollution Control Laws of 2002 and 2007. The present law, for a better alignment with Directive 2006/11/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on pollution caused by certain dangerous substances discharged into the aquatic environment, carries forward amendments to article 36 and adds up a new paragraph in Part II of the Second Table to the principal law regarding the issuance of licenses for waste disposal.
