Abstract
For a better alignment of the Cypriot legislation with the European Union legislative frame, the present regulations are issued under articles 5(2), 7(4) and 34(2) of Law No. 106(I)/2002. Aim of the Regulations is to protect the environment from the adverse effects of urban waste water discharges. For this purpose, it concerns the collection, treatment and discharge of urban waste water and the treatment and discharge of waste water from certain industrial sectors.
