Abstract
For the purpose of a better alignment of the Cypriot legislation with Council Directive 91/271/EEC concerning urban waste water treatment, these Regulations identify sensitive areas for urban waste water discharge, according to the criteria laid down Regulation No. 8 of the Water Pollution Control (Discharge of Urban Waste Water) Regulations, 2003. The geographical delimitation of the areas is described in the Table annexed to these Regulations.
