Abstract
The present Regulations are issued in compliance with European Directive 2000/76/EC on the incineration of waste. The aim of the regulations is to prevent or reduce negative effects on the environment, particularly emissions into soil and surface water, as well as the resulting risks to human health which might arise from incineration and coincineration of waste. The operation of incineration or coincineration plants shall be subject to a permit as prescribed according to the provisions of Solid and Hazardous Waste Laws of 2002 up to 2006.
