Abstract
This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture, which is composed of 76 articles, lays down veterinary requirements for the acquisition, production, processing, treatment, packaging, storage, transport and marketing of animal products and the arrangement and equipment of enterprises in which those products are processed. The Decree establishes: (a) veterinary requirements for the arrangement and equipment of enterprises, factories or other facilities where the meat is processed and stored, and meat products, intended for direct sale to consumers at the place of those activities, are produced and stored; (b) properties of the application for approval and registration of persons producing and processing animal products; (c) veterinary conditions of the sale of animal products in marketplaces and bazaars, and individual place of the seasonal sale of fish; (d) veterinary conditions of direct sale of raw milk and dairy products; (e) veterinary requirements for limited quantities of game delivered directly to a consumer or retailer; (f) assessment and labeling of animal products on the basis of their veterinary examinations; (g) labeling of raw materials and foodstuffs of animal origin; (h) operational requirements and sanitation regulations; (i) the procedure of sampling.
