Abstract
This Decree, which is composed of ten articles and seven Annexes, lays down, in accordance with relevant European Union provisions on classification, packaging, and labelling of dangerous substances which are placed on the market: (a) general procedures for evaluating the hazardous properties of the chemical substances; (b) the calculation method of evaluation of the hazardous properties of preparations on the basis of properties dangerous and hazardous to the health and the environment; (c) other particulars on packaging of hazardous preparations intended for sale to the consumer; (d) preparations that may pose a specific risk to health or the environment (e) particulars on labeling hazardous preparations and preparations that may pose a specific risk to health or the environment; (f) warning symbols and labeling of hazardous physico-chemical properties and characteristics of preparations hazardous to health or the environment; (g) standard risk phrases for substances or preparations (R-phrases); (h) standard guidelines for safe handling of substances or preparations (S-phrases).
